The Chuang Lab is part of Cardiovascular Research Institute (CVRI) at the University of California, San Francisco.

Our long-term goal is to understand the molecular mechanisms of cell–cell interactions during vertebrate development. We study the molecular mechanisms of Hedgehog (Hh) signaling in mammalian development and physiology, using mouse as a model system.   The three main areas of research interest are:
